Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
If you have watched any 'World Poker Tour' (WPT) broadcast, you have heard Hold'Em described as a game that takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master. The game is both incredibly simple and incredibly complex. This book provides someone who has played little or no limit Hold'Em with a basic strategy.

5 out of 5 stars Clear, concise and terrific   August 14, 2006

I had been playing limit hold'em for a while before I read this and it really hit home. The 52 tips cover everything from hand selection to play on the river and are deliberately unambiguous, which makes a refreshing change from the standard answer to most "can I do this" questions about poker, the answer to which is invariably "it depends". Because of this, the book can not go into the nuts and bolts of how to play this game the way, say, the Lee Jones book or the Matthew Hilger book does, but it does an excellent job of defining the framework of competent limit hold'em play (NB this book is not for PL or NL hold'em players). I thoroughly recommend it.
