4 out of 5 stars Great first book   November 2, 2009

I bought this not knowing what to expect. Had been playing poker with friends for a couple of years, but had become quite predictable. Picked up this book hoping to improve my game, and it didn't disappoint one bit. The first thing you realise after reading this book is that it is more important to identify the kind of player you are playing and how to put them on their hole cards. And this book tells you how. Of course instincts play a part, but the logic behind the instincts is quite clearly explained. And from there, how to bring in the money. All in all, a great first read on Hold 'em.

Worked for me :)
